Working under supervision of Franny Morar, MA, LMFT
Welcome, I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) working with clients throughout California via telehealth. I can help address the various difficulties experienced in life by individuals, couples, and families I will help you become more in tune with your needs and enhance coping strategies to help process stressors, loss, manage mood, improve emotional expression, and strengthen cognitive reframing. I will also help you process traumatic experiences, and therefore help you manage how trauma responses manifest in different areas of your life.
The road to becoming a therapist and serving the community was filled with rich experience and widening perspectives. As an undergraduate of Psychology at Long Beach State University I was provided with and inspired by the complex foundations of the human experience. I was driven to propel myself into the mental health field working as a case manager for a non-profit organization. There I worked with and watched children and adolescents and their families shift toward a supportive system and mental well-being. All the while, I advanced my educational career culminating as a graduate of Chapman University with a MA in Marriage in Family Therapy. Now I look forward to continuing my work in the capacity of a therapist, promoting mental health and growth for individuals, couples, and families.
In our work together we will explore strategies to address what you may be struggling with and find opportunities to shift your relationship with the “problem.” My general approach gears toward identifying and being present with your experience. We will work toward uncovering your needs and collaborate on fortifying your skills to move you through your difficulties. Our therapy work will also recognize and challenge barriers both within yourself and your environment. We will each guide the process toward your goals for mental health and well-being.
