Working under supervision of Franny Morar, MA, LMFT
I am an associate marriage and family therapist licensed to practice in the states of California and Texas. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University.
I practice from an attachment and trauma-informed lens, which considers the shaping nature of childhood and later relationships on each person’s mental health development and challenges within the context of relationships. I further augment my practice with a person-centered and emotionally-focused approach to create a therapeutic environment created specifically for healing, growth and improved relational functioning.
I enjoy working with individuals and couples experiencing relational issues that might include communication difficulties and conflict resolution skills, infidelity and related issues of broken trust and betrayal, low or hyper desire discrepancies, and often co-occurring challenges of adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, behavioral problems, and coping difficulties.
I am a queer affirming provider, and am passionate about working with the LGBT community. I have experience working with trans and non-binary youth and queer relationships. I also have experience working with survivors of domestic violence and have provided trauma-informed individual and group therapy. Whether you are a couple, or an individual wanting to better your relationship, I am passionate about helping you build upon your strengths, enhance your communication, and create the life that you desire! I tailor my work to my client’s individual needs. Let’s get creative together and collaborate on the best path towards your healing.
