Diana Evans, MA, AMFT

Working under supervision of Franny Morar, MA, LMFT

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of California and Texas. I received my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University and my bachelor’s degree in psychology from San Francisco State University.

My clinical training at the Frances Smith Center for Individual and Family Therapy at Chapman University equipped me to work with adults, couples, and families facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, grief and loss, adjustment to change, and family issues. This experience fueled my passion for helping clients create a sense of internal safety and enhance their satisfaction in relationships.

In our work together, we will explore the underlying themes and patterns in your life that are keeping you stuck in unfulfilling cycles. I believe that you already have the answers you are seeking. My role in your process is to help guide you back to your internal voice, empowering you to create lasting change in your life. I practice from an attachment and trauma-informed perspective, which means we will consider how your early experiences and relationships have shaped how you relate to the world and the people around you today. I use techniques from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness-based practices, and inner-child work to help clients develop a sense of internal safety when facing challenging emotions.

I believe it is a privilege to be let into my client’s inner world. I strive to create a safe and collaborative environment for my clients to identify their goals and create meaningful change in their lives. Whether you are a couple, family, or individual, I would be honored to support you on your healing journey.
